Project Study and Estimation

After an introductory meeting in our workshop and the initiation of the project, we move on to a comprehensive research phase, gathering all necessary information such as photographs, archives, and blueprints to form a solid conceptual foundation for the vehicle. This thorough study enables us to estimate the project more precisely.

Conception

Once the estimation is approved, we begin the vehicle’s conceptualization phase. Depending on the project’s requirements, this phase may involve various approaches, such as creating 3D digital designs, constructing a prototype in calibrated density foam in our lab, or designing and manufacturing custom tools and templates necessary for the accurate fabrication of the body.

Body Fabrication

As the process transitions to metalwork, the rhythmic sound of percussion fills the air, signaling the commencement of hands-on craftsmanship. With every deliberate strike, the metal begins to transition, revealing elegant curves and contours and bringing a vision to a tangible reality. This is where the artistry of metal shaping truly comes to life, underscored by the steady and precise cadence of the artisans’ tools.

Protection of Parts

We coat hollow bodies with an epoxy anti-corrosion treatment for enhanced protection. In some cases, budget permitting, we can send out the shells for cataphoresis immersion. This technique is suitable for monocoque structures.

Metal Finishing and Highlights

Using neon lights, we refine and adjust the contours of the vehicle to achieve optimal aesthetics. Always in pursuit of excellence, The “Metal Finishing” technique pushes the project to perfection by detecting and eliminating each imperfection with the help of a blue powder.

Fabrication and Adjustments of Fittings

Each element, from handles and decorative accents to practical features, is precisely crafted.

Next comes the assembly of all the chrome and accessories to ensure a perfect fit before the car is painted. This final phase of the bodywork rebuilding process is a time when any interventions are still possible to perfect the final adjustments. Although this stage takes time, it is crucial for the rest of the project.

“Bare Metal” Delivery

Similar to our restoration services, we do not apply paint or primer to the body. The vehicle is delivered “bare metal” for total transparency. Clients will be able to fully appreciate the result of the many hours of work. This, however, means that the car must be handed over to the painter within a fairly short period of time to prevent any corrosion. Mehdi is able to advise clients on the next steps and recommend trusted partners.

Combining the skill of manual work and mechanical power, here everything comes together to give new life to exceptional vehicles.
